Joseph Murray, originally from central Pennsylvania, graduated from the University of Alabama in 2011 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics and Mathematics. He earned his Ph.D. in Physics at the University of Maryland, where he focuses on theoretical astroparticles and computer simulations. As part of his employment responsibilities, he instructs classes in undergraduate physics and writes computer simulations for NASA’s Goddard Spaceflight Center, as well as teaches at St. Mary's College. He tutors students in all levels of physics and math.
